Work

Vocational rehabilitation is the process by which someone who has suffered illness, injury or disability is helped to return (or to remain in) their professional vocation.

Illness and other factors can affect your ability to work. For some people, even small adjustments can be the difference between being able to work or not.

We can work with you as an individual, or via your employer.

We look at:

- The person, their background and skills and what you are able to do currently

- The tasks and responsibilities relating to your current or future roles

- The working environment, including physical environment and work practices, and how these affect you

- Other factors and considerations including factors external to work, eg role as carer for others.

Depending upon your requirements, I can then provide objective recommendations either as a brief  Allied Health Professional return to work report, or a more detailed report. These reports include recommendations for changes, support, further assessment and treatments which will support you to return to or remain in their current role, or if this is not possible, I will suggest alternate ideas.
